Back Pain
If you suffer from back pain Mesa, it’s no joke. Typically people experiencing back pain are in one of 3 categories.
Your back was feeling fine, but it’s been bothering you ever since this weekends basketball game. You get what I mean, its pretty easy to pinpoint when it started bothering you and why.
Fortunately, in this scenario, you should only need one or two myopractic sessions and then you should be good to go.
In this case your body has adapted to live with the pain. That being said, it’s taken time for your body adapt to it’s current condition, therefore it will likely take time to address it as well.
Plan on coming in once a week for at least 6-8 weeks. As your body improves, the goal will then be to space those sessions out until you can get to the point of only needing to come in on an as needed basis.
This can be one of the most frustrating situations. “I bent over to pick up a pencil and all of the sudden I felt a stabbing feeling in my back. I’ve tried just about everything and nothing seems to help!” I’ve had so many clients tell a similar story.
One thing that’s important to understand in situations like this, is that even though the pain is new to you, the tension pattern in your body has likely been there a while. Otherwise it would have been easier to address already. That being said, realize that like pain that has been there for years, don’t expect to address it in one or two sessions. This may take some time to get the results you’re hoping for, since we are working with a pattern of tension that isn’t new, even though the pain is new.
